With an estimated 8,000 event attendees, Nike After Dark Tour London required coffee and hot drinks for runners, spectators and VIP guests.

UNIT was tasked with delivering two separate service setups: a high-footfall public coffee bar in the F+B area and a dedicated Trackside VIP hospitality service.

Each location had different equipment, space and service requirements, with both operating simultaneously throughout race night.

A fully equipped public coffee bar served the wider event audience, while a separate Trackside VIP setup provided dedicated hospitality service.

Across both locations, UNIT served speciality coffee, matcha, tea and hot chocolate.

A six-person team coordinated drink preparation, customer service and stock replenishment throughout the seven-hour service window.

UNIT managed the complete coffee operation, from initial planning and technical requirements through to equipment installation, staffing, stock management and branded service.

Working alongside event production, UNIT coordinated power, water, equipment, access and on-site logistics for both locations.

Commercial espresso equipment, efficient bar layouts and experienced event baristas supported consistent service across the two setups.

Over seven hours, UNIT delivered more than 1,000 drinks across both locations, averaging over 140 drinks per hour combined.

The project demonstrated UNIT’s ability to coordinate multiple coffee service locations within a major live event, bringing together equipment, staffing and operational delivery through one team.

From a high-footfall public coffee bar to dedicated VIP hospitality, each setup was designed around its environment and service requirements.

The result was a complete coffee operation built to support the pace, scale and demands of race night.
